Parents are people too. They do stupid shit, and any authority doing stupid shit frankly deserves to be told to shut the fuck up at times. Don’t get me wrong, some parents are incredible role models, friends, and providers, but some are none of the before mentioned and need to be told to get their shit together.
A public confrontation like this is inappropriate, and if the kid is just trying to belittle their mom and/or dad then then they are the ones that need to shut the fuck up.
